原盘画质很难评价，原生分辨率 874.5p，一言以蔽之，一糊遮百丑。画面相当糊，没有什么太显著的瑕疵，但观感也不好。噪点偏重，质量也不理想，部分场景有一些欠码。处理上基本是常规项目：逆向拉升重构、抗锯齿、去色带。为了提升观感，我们做了收线并加深了线条。最后对噪点层做了一些简单的重构操作。另外片尾插画的画质比正片好不少，我们只进行了简单的降噪。
The image quality is difficult to comment on. In short, the blurring image is powerful enough to hide all artifacts. The image has a native resolution of 874.5p, quite blurry, with nothing too notable artifacts. But the viewing experience isn't any better for it. The noise is excessive but not ideal, resulting in many scenes suffering an insufficient bitrate. Our PP is basically the standard: descaling and reconstruction, anti-aliasing, and de-banding. To improve the viewing experience, we did thinning and darkening for lines. Finally, we performed some simple reconstruction on the noise layer. By the way, the quality of the endcard part is significantly better than the main feature. Thus, we only applied basic denoising for this part.

总监：难以评价的一代奇片。作为在自己棺材上画满美少女萌绘的骨灰级二次元轻小说家（物理意义）松智洋的遗作，还有监督的人设加持，追番前是极具期待的，结果被动画工业界糟蹋成了史诗级作画崩坏的里程碑，给众多阿宅留下了极大的心理阴影。
